Newsom's Shutdown

means

Free Shipping for California Cutomers

Dear Friend,

As of Midnight, 3/20/2020, Governor Newsom’s “stay-at-home” executive order went into effect.  If you showed up to visit our tasting room, and these doors were locked, it may look like we are closed.  Well, we are after all, “involuntarily closed”.  Kinda sucks, but that is the way it is.  For now.

With this involunary shutdown, we are offering free shpping in the state of California for orders of three bottles or more.  The shopping cart will detect you are from California and will apply your discounts as appropriate.

If you choose to visit our tasting room, the front doors will be locked.  However, if I am in, I will gladly accommodate you so you may pick up your wine club shipment, or your online order.  We would appreciate it if you pre-order so it will be a quick and easy handoff for pickup.  If you are local to Idyllwild, I can also deliver to you (orders of three bottles or more), just mark the order as pickup and make sure that you enter your delivery address as your billing address.

In any case, since we are closed, please call the main number 951-659-9000, and if you do not get a response there, then try my cellphone 714-306-5746 to make sure I am not in.

Please remember, individual glasses of wine, wine tastings or bottles are not to be served for on-premise consumption indoors at this time.  Besides, I can only imagine trying to toast glasses 6-feet apart from each other.  Toasting glasses at that distance has to get really awkward and all.  You know, throwing wine on each other with a gleam of joy on our faces?  And then…   Wait, I digress.  Back to my original message…

If you want wine, you can call me and I will do my best to help you out.  Or, you can go online to order and I will call you to let you know when it is available for pickup or delivery.

Be well, and best regards,

Chris & Melody Johnston
