A grape that is usually used in blended wines and is worthy of great conversation. The Mediterranean climate loving Cinsaut grape is traditionally from the south of France and is also used in the great wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. This Middle Ridge 2017 Cinsaut is full of surprises. It gives you great aromas of flowers, hazelnuts, smoke and red fruits. Along with its ample acidity and very long finish, you’ll find flavors that really mirror it’s aromas. This is a great sipping wine and a great food wine as well. Pair this with Mediterranean food like Greek, Italian and Spanish dishes along with, roast beef, rosemary encrusted lamb chops or thyme-encrusted roast pork loin.
