Merlot got a bad rap in 2004 and struggled for several years before coming back into favor with wine lovers. The first thing you will notice is the beautiful polished ruby red color. As you get closer, you will discover the aromas of Plum and Blackberry, with a hint of Violets and a dash of Earthiness. Your first sip will be full of Smoky Dark Plums, Ripe Blackberry, and a hint of Tobacco. Pair this wine with Grilled Pork Loin or Filet Mignon and Grilled Mixed Veggies. For the adventurist, pair this wine with Traditional Ossobuco.
