"Lilies at Lake Ticañu" is a pastel painting by Carole Degnan. Inspired by the beauty in nature, both flora and fauna, Carole focuses on the emotions brought forth by the scenery around her. On Dorland Mountain near Temecula Valley Wine Country, there is a small lake called Lake Ticañu. In the spring, the lake is covered with blooming lilies and dancing frogs. Carole often sits at the lake’s edge and contemplates nature's complexity and beauty.
