This wonderfully light-bodied wine has loads of red fruit aromas like cherries and pomegranates accented with a notes of white pepper and anise, followed by a hint of mocha The combination of Merlot and Malbec make it an “easy drinker” and the Petit Verdot gives the wine a nice, round mouthfeel and good finish.  Enjoy it with a slow-cooked brisket or braised short ribs.  If you’re in the mood for chicken, try it roasted with lemon, garlic and herbs, or topped with a mole sauce.  It’s also outstanding with sausage pizza.  And don’t forget to bring out the chocolate torte for desert!  Oh, can you say loaded with Mocha?

I served this at a dinner party last Weekend and we were all amazed by the quality, complexity and smoothness of Coyote Run. My long time favorite red wine has been Duckhorn Merlot. I have have to say that Coyote Run is a strong contender to replace it. And if tou consider the value aspect your CR wins hands down. Keep up the great work and products you are crafting they are amazing.

A true treat! Full of flavor, great nose and a bargain at $30. Great wine to introduce and share with friends.
